About PARSThe Peace Arch Rhododendron Society (PARS), based in south Surrey, is a club of enthusiastic gardeners and rhododendron lovers. Monthly meetings are held on the 4th Tuesday of each month between September and May at Cranley Hall, 2141 Cranley Drive, South Surrey, BC (see map). Our meetings are friendly, sharing events with guest speakers and informative presentations. Meetings typically end with our raffle table, so members leave with a smile and a rhodo or two tucked under their arm. PARS also conducts educational sessions, cutting exchanges, field trips in the fall and spring to private gardens and nurseries of exceptional merit, and an annual plant sale in April where hard-to-find varieties and rare species are offered. Regular social events include wine and cheese get-togethers, Christmas socials, and our annual June picnic and organized bus tours. Why not come out for a meeting? We think you'll like our club (How to Join). Non-members are cordially invited to come out for a meeting or two, without obligation. |
